The three-post rhythm for busy coaches
A sustainable weekly cadence you can actually keep.
Most content calendars fail for the same reason gym memberships do: they are designed for the version of you that has a light week, not the version of you that has three back-to-back client sessions and a delayed flight.
The rhythm below is designed for the second version.
Three posts, three intents
- Monday — a point of view. Short. Opinionated. Written to be quoted.
- Wednesday — a client-shaped observation. Specific, sanitised, useful.
- Friday — a warmer piece. A behind-the-scenes note, a small win, a human moment.
Why three, not five
Five is what an agency sells you. Three is what a real practitioner can sustain across a full year without silently starting to hate the exercise. And LinkedIn's algorithm rewards consistency over volume; three predictable posts outperform five inconsistent ones almost every time.
The best cadence is the one you can keep on your worst week, not your best.
Batching, not improvising
Draft on Sunday, edit on Monday morning, schedule the week. Anything more ambitious will eventually be the first thing to go when the calendar tightens.
